This was my first Peace Fleece project. I have since fallen in love with the yarn. It’s like wearing a pair of blue jeans – it’s comfortable and practical and carefree. As sturdy and hard wearing as it is, though, it keeps getting softer with age. One of my favorite things about Peace Fleece is that it virtually never pills.

The texture pattern on the top portion was inspired by the sweater that Matt Damon wore in the first Bourne movie.

I based the dimensions on a favorite sweatshirt. The boxy fit is not flattering to my figure, but there is no more cozy, comfortable Saturday piece that I could imagine. (No, that’s not me in the pics.)

I used the leftovers to make a small sweater for my dear little corgi. She loved the wooliness of it, and it seemed to help calm her during scary thunderstorms.
