Imagine you’re lost in a deserted island and one day, while looking for food and other necessity items to make living bearable, you find a huge trunk full of the most amazing sock yarn in the world.
The problem is, the only needles you found so far are straights, and you can’t sew to save your life…argh!!!!

Fear not - these socks are my way of proving that it can be done in straights, with no sewing involved ;)

11/5 I finished the second sock last night, which is a huge achievement for me as I tend to not finish stuff I do for myself.
I like the toe on the second sock best.
As I was knitting the cuff it occurred to me that I might be able to knit a simple circular shawl using the same technique :D

On actual news about the development of the socks themselves. Well, it works. I’m doing some mods to the second one and might be able to release some kind of document showing how they’re done.
