Going to use up all the odd balls at random throughout the shawl.

I ended up alternating a solid/semi-solid with a variegated every two rows after the initial section of the shawl and until the very end when I had to buy another ball of koigu and I used the entire thing up first alternating, then without alternating, then finished off with a row each of a couple of other colors. By weight I used 910 yards for the shawl.

It fits so wonderfully…the shape makes it hug your shoulders. Really pretty painfully boring to knit, but so nice to have. Knitting it this way has led to 4 million ends to weave in however.
