Dial on 3 (2 clicks looser than #32)
1x1 rib for 30 rounds
Stop at 9:00
Switch every other rib needle out for a cylinder needle for 3x1 rib (beginning with 2nd rib needle past right half mark)
0 out the counter
35 rounds
tighten tension one click to left to 2
knit until total 70 rounds for leg
stop at 12:00 and change heel side rib needles to cylinder needles.
Knit to 80 (10 rounds pre heel)
Stop at 6:00 and put ribber out of work and lift back needles (instep) past deep heel mark.
Wrapped heel: Knit a +3 deep heel (3 extra needles past each half mark)
after finishing heel, stop at 6:00 put ribber needles back into work and lower instep needles
Knit a foot with 3x1 ribbed instep for 75 rounds. Stop at 6:00 Switch out remaining rib needles for cylinder.
Pre toe with all cylinder needles for 3 rounds (total 78 rounds)
Then knit wrapped toe

Intended to be slightly larger than pair (10.5 mens with a larger calf) #32 (size 10 mens for a thin young man) but I forgot that looser tension and bigger stitches for a larger circumference means more rounds per inch as well. DH says they fit, but I have a feeling they will be too loose when he wears them for a bit. So they may be better on a size 11 or 12 foot….
