Two dogs equals two knitted bones!

My parents are getting a new little puppy (Golden Retriever and Lab mix) on Thanksgiving and I am going home to meet her.

I thought it would be cute to knit her something and since I can’t knit her a shirt (she will grow out of it in no time), I thought I would make her a little toy.

So excited!

I changed the pattern slightly on this version. The first time I made this, I found that the one end of the bone (where I binded off) wasn’t rounded/curved enough (too square looking).

So I decided to make it in four pieces instead of two and then stitch them all together.

I also made the ends a bit longer. After row 3, I added another purl row and another knit row.
