Notes

6/9/2013: I fixed the border yesterday and posted the final pictures today. I left the pictures from before and don’t really see much of a difference when compared… I also fixed the “hole” from the before picture; I just needed to manually move a stitch so it was more centered. I love this baby blanket!

6/3/2013: I still love this blanket but realized yesterday I skipped a round in the border! I’m going to (or not!) have to rip back 4 rounds which is giving me a headache just thinking about it! :O(

It’s a good thing I have so much yarn left over otherwise I’d have no choice but to leave it as is….

Darn it to heck!

Despite the rip back I may or may not do, I’m still very hooked on this pattern. I’m also working the pattern using a Bernat dk baby yarn and love the way it looks so far. While I was crocheting that second blanket yesterday was when I discovered the error in the first blanket….I thought to myself, “I don’t remember doing two dc2tog in a chain one space on round 31 ….oh nooo!!! I skipped round 31!!!”.

6/1/2013: I love the end result of the color changes on this baby blanket!!!

I’m in the process of making another baby blanket with this same pattern except this time I’m taking notes of any changes to the pattern I make along the way.

The kit came with 4 skeins but at the tension I normally work at I only needed 3 skeins. I have a small/medium sized ball left of the 3rd skein and one unused 4th skein I might make into a scarf. :O)

I would definitely recommend this kit especially if you like to crochet doilies.

This baby blanket is for a baby boy or girl. I may also donate it in the future…..

Note:
I haven’t washed or blocked this blanket yet. While its being blocked I plan to manually adjust any stitches that are off center.
