I started this project in May 2012…its a beautiful pattern and the Patons Lace yarn is too. Will post future updates!

6/18/12: I have five more pattern repeats until the boarder….its at this point when I realized I should have knitted a gauge swatch. This shawl is going to be much smaller than stated in the pattern. It will be so small in fact that it will fit the cat perfectly. Lesson learned….
Lets see how it lookes after blocking….maybe it’ll work as a neck scarf when done.

10/22/2012: One more pattern repeat and the boarder then I’m done! :O)

11/12/2012: Done! I used the cast off that Nancy Bush demonstrated in the DVD that accompany’s her book, Knitted Lace of Estonia. I thought that cast off was cool. :O) I did so much lace knitting from Friday to Monday that my head felt like it was going to fall off my body….However, I am so happy that the knitting part of my Small Shawl is finally done! (It’s still being blocked but it will work as a neck scarf! The cat is NOT getting this!!)
