Notes

I’m using various hooks and needle sizes to do this CKAL, as well as various weights of threads and yarns.

Week 1: A 3D mushroom - part Burges lace with an edge of Tunisian.
Week 2: Create a Flower with 2 centers. This one was made with a twisted, knitted center and puffs created by knitting 3 to 4 rows below. The outside edge was crocheted shells with spike stitch.
Week 3: Create a fantasy critter: the head was created with all crochet, using some wire in the antenna, IC, and crocodile stitch for the wings. The eyes are glass buttons that Jorel gave me. The tail is a knitted ginko leaf using short rows and I-cord.
Week 4: Create rocks and barnacles that appear ocean side. Stitch is using padding cord and sc stitch.
Week 5: Create a Bird of Paradise. Stitch is limped and chainless foundation stitches.
Week 6: Create an imaginary Eup and include slip stitch crochet.
Week 7: Create a motif based on the Venus Fly Trap, using. Pattern provided for both the trap and the roots.
Week 8: Unfurling ferns using RPL cord via Olgemini’s tutorial.
Week 9: Make a flower that resembles clothing using intarsia reminiscent of the Hippy Error.

All photos are reverse order with the critter taking up 2, one for the head and one for the tail.
