I have seen Westknits pattern announcement for this nice and crazy shawl on Instagram.
I am looking for really warm and cozy shawl because it’s still so cold here.

I am so afraid of knitting Westknits, but I found some tutorial Videos on his Youtube channel where he explains how to knit the I-corde and the sections in the Building Blocks KAL.

I only have a lot of fingering weight yarn and mohair.
With 5mm needles it’s perfect. Smaller needles makes the fabric to stiff.

I will not go as crazy as Westknits and his fellows.
It will be a maritime inspired scarf with a pop of pink.

Step 1: The I-cord cast on looks so nice! Love it. I did it with 2 DPNS. Knit 3, slip to the other end,knit 3…. Picking up the stitches was easy. The video instructons are very useful.

Section 1 in Ink and White Wash. No drama, my knitting skills are sufficient. It’s a little tricky to keep everything in order with 4 balls of yarn…..work work work
The scarf is about 40cm wide. This will be a huge!!!! and extra cozy scarf! Love the fabric with the mohair. It’s so soft.

Section 3 in Ink and Denim. I am so in love with this pattern! This section is beautiful!

400 grams and 40 x 200 cm. A beautiful and huge scarf is born. Perfect for cold winter days.
I’m very pleased with the outcome.
The feel of the scarfs fabric is just a dream!
