My first shawl ever! I am in love with this. The lace was fun to do, but not overwhelming. I really, really hope my mother-in-law will like it too. It’s named after her beautiful black cat, Sheba, who recently passed away and was very shy (but friendly, when she got to know you) and sweet. She was with my husband’s family for seventeen years and she is sorely missed. Hopefully my mother-in-law will wear this shawl and smile when she thinks of Sheba.
