A lovely lovely pattern- with a perfect fit; it just sits on the shoulders without sliding down!.

Messed up the central stich- so the central hole is not round as in the original. But the shawl is still stunningly beautifull.

starting clue 1 one size 4 needles- going up to size 4,5 at the end of clue 1 ( just before the change of pattern).
Somehow my gauge changed I am normally a tight knitter- but during clue 2 I started knittting very very looosely.. strange !

Had originally decided to use the opaque turquise beads just for one of the clues, but somehow started with a wrong colour- a sparkly turquise, and then changed my mind:
I will now use 3 different colour beads- all based on turquise: hence the name of the shawl: the sand and the sea!

At end of clue 2 I have 65g left.
