I have never really seen the point of entrelac but now!
my only problem is that currently i do not own 21 different colors in the same gauge, but I see that changing very soon

1. swatch with 4 colors test the entrelac “row” progression

2. swatch have 14 different yarns arranged not to touch

next update will be with a more exact pattern and better yarn fits

Trying to perfect the wedges… Kitting round and round and about 3. revolutions before I got something I like.
From the usual enterlac wedge(sideways) to center co to the one I will go on with
The winners are the wedges close to the color-legend. Knitted border, short rows and continuous!
In principle all individual colours are unbroken. (Except of course for the grey spirals). The border could be continued from any of the ending times.
I feel a dress now. Ooh yesss preciouss, aah dresses!!!!!

Center and first 2 rounds is in 2 needles. And then one round 2.5, rest in 2.7….

Sincerely believed that the dress should be based on circles. Made the full pattern for transformation in Inkscape (pattern along path being my friend) and then I went down a bronceage rabbit hole and wanted something from egvedpigen. And a modern sunwheel…
Happily redesigning and frogging my swatch yet again…
BUT confident in color yardage I will be ordering the final colorshema soon. No color in the wheel goes above 10g and they are probably also all below 5 g…

All preparation done!
The red block corner won corner gauge+ vertical knit together.
Color wheel finalized. A mix of holst-coast plus a bit of silk (yellow) wool (light green) alpaca (orange and green) and flax+bamboo (dark blue) has been ordered…

Base color will be a custom dye appx. purple (next to the pink block)

Putting off the precise pattern for the full dress until the spiral is done…

Last entry here - it did knit. It is now a pillowcase waiting for a pillow.

Not really satisfied with the greens and wanting to save on my purple so…
