These are knit longer in the foot for my friend, Rae. She also requested a fairly short leg/cuff.

—Cast-on and knit toe w/smaller needles (2.0 mm)
—CHANGE NEEDLES to 2.25 mm in stockinette round before final toe increase round
—knit stockinette 7 rounds before starting lace pattern (plain toe will = a little over 2 inches long)
