My first ever cardigan :)
I want to adjust it so it comes closest to the Babaa Cardigan No 23.

Very well explained knitting pattern and with 6mm needles it goes quite quickly so far :)

I stopped knitting the body because I became bored and started with the arms. I decreased 5 times as mentioned in the pattern and continued until I liked the length (with the increase in length through blocking in mind) - in this case I continued 21 rows. Then I knitted 13 rows in 1:1 rib plus two rows double knitting and finished with Italian BO. I skipped the pleat

Finished the body - knitted until I liked the length and added some ribbing plus two rows double knitting at the edge. Italian bind off took forever :D

I started the button band. I did a double knitted button band instead and used this tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JIh9Kuxizks

Yesterday I finished the collar and blocked the cardigan. After 2 1/2 weeks of pretty busy knitting.
It will take a while to dry, then I will add the buttons and will decide if I want to add pockets.
I only added four buttons and used a simple button hole tutorial for the button on the collar https://youtu.be/RwcgVHQAWRM?si=IqKF4--vMc3_BzpT

The cardigan has finally dried in our very cold home, so I added the buttons and could try it on for real for the first time. It stretched out very nicely. The buttonband was so wonky when I knitted it but it all went well after blocking. I decided now I wanted pockets after all so I will finish those today and then try to take the final pictures :) I knit the pockets as mentioned in the pattern with 25 stitches but knit only 23 rows plus 7 rows of normal 1:1 rib
As a reference to size: I am 1,76m and usually wear size M (38/40) :)
