This is an easy 4 row repeat. I’m getting a spiral of pooling but the pattern is making it not so obvious. The cable is disappearing a bit because of the variegations but I’m okay with that. This pattern would also look good in a yarn that is more solid. The fit is a little tight when putting it on over the heel but I wouldn’t want the leg any looser. I started using a tooth pick as a cable needle. Don’t know why I didn’t try that before as it is the best CN that I’ve used for socks! 9spi

I’m using a square heel with EOP on the flap. This yarn has no nylon so I want the extra fabric for better wear. 34 rows, 19st gusset

Medium wedge, wide toe: dec 3 in from edge, reduce to 38 then to 18.

I’ve finished all but the grafting of the toe. And weaving in the ends. In the end this was a good pattern for me to work on as the 4 row repeat just called out to be finished each time I wanted to put it down. I like how the pattern has broken up the spiralling dark/light stripes and blended it better with the rest of the yarn. I haven’t quite been able to capture this pretty colour - it is slightly greener that the FO photos show.
