I will absolutely go back to skippers in the round, which can be made in about 1/4 of the time, more accurately, with better fit and no sewing. Good god, this pattern is awkward. What are you supposed to do with the yarn left over after stitching up the middle? What I did was separate my 2 strands, sc up each side til they met at the back and knot. Then with 2 strands again, you can ss the heel closed. I appreciate the intention of this pattern; it’s just a ton of work to make a poor-fitting slipper. Oh well.
