A variation on the everyday sock, inspired by cool stitch pattern I came across and a color combo I liked when raiding my stash.

Knit Everyday Sock style folded cuff with heel tab color 1

Knit 1 row with color 2 (this was my row closing the folded cuff)

Brought in color 3 and knit in alternate rounds of color 2 and 3 for 6 rounds (ending after color 2 row) per pattern before starting heel.

Pattern maintained on arch stitches entire sock. Sole is plain stockinette.

Pattern:
Color 3 round: (p2, s1wyib) repeat
Color 2 round: (p2, ktbl) repeat

Knit flap heel in color 3 across first 38 stitches of round (the first and last stitches of heel should line up with a purl column, and first and last stitches of remaining should be ktbl columns)

Flap decreases worked on color 2 rounds, taking care of to turn stitches as needed when working a k2tog or ssk so that the twisted stitch is maintained

Continue decreasing down to 72 stitches, work in pattern to 1.5” short of toe, knit 321 toe with a couple color 1 stripes.
