I work for a chain yarn/fabric/craft store and I’m constantly disappointed by the ugly/boring/uninspiring pattern offerings of the big-name yarn companies (Patons/Cleckheaton - well technically they’re the same company).

We sell some nice yarns though (in amongst the yukky acrylic) and I was super-excited to find this pattern for an 8-ply/DK and get permission to knit a sample in the store’s ‘home brand’ pure wool which I’m quite fond of.

I quite like the cowl pattern too and I expect I’ll be making a version of that too.
