I adapted the pattern according to

I also made my own adaption and put my hearts in diagonale rows, see pictures. I altered between starting my row at stitch 4 and stitch 7 every other row.
The blanket turned out to be a little too large, so I just made a very thin white border to complete it.
I am very happy with the result!
