Notes

Mods - changing my decreases in chart A so that I’m using both k2tog and ssk, so that my decreases will lean the same direction as the lace. Using ssp (as described in the back of the book) on ws of ssk. Also doing centered double decreases when appropriate.

Really started working on this again in earnest mid-July - goal is to wear it to a family wedding at the beginning of September.

Finished knitting 8/24/09. Did 36 repeats of center section, otherwise knit pattern as directed. I have 2.9 grams of yarn leftover, so if you want to knit this with sea silk be very careful - I cut it close!

Blocked 8/29/09. I didn’t measure pre-blocking but it blocked out to 22”x69”. It definitely grew though! I was afraid that it wouldn’t be open enough but it looks great after blocking.

Ends woven in and officially DONE 9/1/09. Except for one border, the entire scarf was completed in about a month and a half. Not bad for “complicated” lace!
