Cast on 10/23/16 and progressed through setup row of ladder-back jaquard and first row after that (Rows 1 and 2 of body section). Am finding the pattern to be very well written and the accompanying video tutorials are the best.

Worked just past face chart and am ready to start crown decreases. Have found jacquard back to pull slightly tighter than the facing fabric, even though I’ve tried to keep even tension on both yarns. It would help to knit the black more loosely or place work on larger circumference needles (am using 16” circulars) while working chart.

Just need to complete the finishing section and weave in ends!
