First hat (of duo) increases: made lifted increases instead of standard M1.

For large hat size, first hat of duo: omit last decrease; total of 144 stitches instead of 145 so that there will be an even number of stitches for the 1x1 ribbing to come.

Length between crown shaping and brim = 4”.

Total length of 1x1 ribbing for each hat brim = 1.5”.

For large hat size, second hat of duo: on first round of decreases,
* knit 27, k2tog * four times; knit 28. Complete hat as pattern is written after this first decrease round.

The Knit Picks yarn is displaying a crazy flashing/pooling effect. We like it.
