The blue isn’t quite as dark as the picture makes it out to be.

My fiance brought home 2 50g skeins of fingering weight 75/25 merino silk from Sin City Knits in Las Vegas. I’ve misplaced the band at the moment, but I recall it was their December colorway.

I decided to roll the dice and cast on Imagine When, even though my yardage was a tad bit shorter than called for. I went down a needle size to compensate.

The pattern is excellent. Changing enough to be interesting, while still simple enough to need little referencing. The short rows kept it moving along at a nice clip.

I finished with less than a gram of yarn to spare. Excellent. Hard blocked and let the top bow into the blocking instead of trying to pin it straight. It opened up beautifully.
