This is my first real fair isle project: the pattern is great and a good exercise to train for later intentions. At the end of the wool and after ‘section’ there will be a warm blanket : 100 cm x 150 cm.
The 5 cm border is linen from the shop “Etoffe & Tessuti” in Freiburg. It is the exact colour as the Wensleydale Yarn.

Den Stoff, der genau die Farbe des dunklen Garnes trifft habe ich in Freiburg bei “Etoffe & Tessuti gefunden und mir die Blenden mit Briefecken zugeschnitten. Für mehr Stand habe ich Vlieseine eingebügelt, es war zwar auch noch mal Handarbeit die Einfassung zu nähen, es hat aber auch viel Spaß gemacht und macht die Decke für mich perfekt als Geburtstagsgeschenk an meine Mutter.
