Was going to do this for a gift exchange, but then changed my mind. Gifting it to one of my granddaughters instead.

Chubby Cat Hat as a general guideline for measurements, but just winged it instead of actually following the pattern.

Used 4 strands of worsted weight (2 plain grey, 2 grey w/ metallic) to get super bulky (and 2 strands for the crocheted bow).

Size 13dpns. Cast on 48 stitches. Went with 3/1 ribbing (for 9 rows) instead of the seed stitch border so it would have more stretch. Did a row of purl stitch before starting the stockinette (knit stitch) section. Then just knit until hat was 8.5 inches from cast on edge, and used kitchener stitch to close it.
