Did my gauge swatch with size 10 needles. Spot on!

Cast on with size 10.5 needles because I always manage to cast on tighter than I knit. Other than the cast on, the wrap is knit with size 10.

I weighed out 100g of each color to start, and used approx 60g (121yds) of each. Finished shawl weight was 324g, so about 605yds total. Blocked size when finished was 19”wide x 68” long.

This would be a great beginner project, but is interesting enough for more experienced knitters. It’s a really relaxing knit (the pattern is easy to memorize), yet it produces stunning results! Love it! This may be my go-to gift knit from now on!

Gifted it to my friend as she’s having a medical procedure in a few days. She LOVED it, and immediately wrapped up in it!
