Added the charts I created in Knit Companion for L/XL size. These charts made it MUCH easier to keep track of where I was at versus flipping back and forth through the pages of the pattern.

A note on the sleeves:
I didn’t understand what it meant when it talked about incorporating the increases for the first six stitches into a left cable, and for the next four stitches, into a narrow cable and whatever. I figured I would just turn it into the moss stitch. But after 40 rows, I realized it was not going to look like the original. So I found a video on YouTube that really helped!
I then had to rip out the 40 rows and begin again. Basically, you are building a left cable out of the first six increase stitches, then you’re building a narrow cable out of the next four stitches, and so forth and so on.

She doesn’t knit the size I’m knitting, so it doesn’t show the incorporation of the increase stitches into the different cable patterns, but she gives a great explanation at the beginning.

Finally finished! Still have to add the buttons and stars but first it needs a good blocking. Should be done in time for Christmas!!

She loved it! Turned out great! The stars are a bit larger than the original but they worked and she actually likes them better so it worked out ok.
