Frogged it and starting over. Didn’t like the neckband and the join as you go was so fiddly! I wound everything into magic knot balls and trying again!

Finally done!!!
What a process! Lovely pattern but the yarn I initially chose for trim was all wrong. Had to do a bit of knitting surgery to put new trim and now it’s perfect!

I did have to reduce the neck by 60 stitches! It was way too big. But reducing was easy after the body was knit. Definitely recommend adding the neckband after the fact versus beginning with it on this size.

Ended up using some Puento Arenas 3 ply handspun for the trim that worked out much better. All the rest of the yarn used was random handspun skeins I’ve spun for the last 3 or 4 years.
