After knitting this in Green and White, I decided to reverse the pattern and background colors and can always find uses for blue in my wardrobe. The only problem I see is that the white of the purl braid peaks thru on the dark cuff whereas the dark braid on a light colored cuff blended into the shadows.

Body completed and steeks machine stitched. Need to PU stitches for fronts, attach sleeves, seam shoulders and knit collar. A good project for a snowy weekend!

Finished knitting collar and sewed in sleeves today. Need to add the zipper. I made the cuffs and lower ribbing longer than the previous version but otherwise the construction details were identical. Total weight of sweater: 489grams.

The designer is a delight to work with and her patterns are clear and precise with easy to follow charts. I will look forward to completing this one so I can try another design from her soon!
