Our 5 month old grandson is rapidly outgrowing the hats I’ve made for him. I had a chance to knit up this little berry hat today and will hope he will model it for me tonight at dinner. I made the child size (72 stitches) and used several sizes of needles to shape the crown before the stitch decreases began.

I’m debating whether this is a blueberry or an eggplant hat!?!? I didn’t bother to block it since it seems to have found an immediate home on his little head!

Perhaps I need to riffle thru my stash to find some orange yarn for a pumpkin hat!
