This is a Bohus Stickning design by Annika Malmström-Bladini from 1957, recreated by Solveig Gustafsson in 2010 and revised by Pernille Silfverberg in 2016.

This is my 8th Bohus design to knit but my first by Annika. I find the combination of stitches and colorwork that she has used here gives the effect of delicate lace in places. You can see this in the rows just below the pale pink feature in the yoke.

February 3, 2017

Yoke, short rows and raglan increases completed. Ready to separate sleeves from body.

February 12, 2017

Finished body except for lower ribbing which I now save for last in order to build up steam by completing the sleeves.

February 16, 2017

First sleeve completed with 3.25” of 1x1 ribbing at cuff with a sewn, kitchener cast off.

February 23, 2017

Second sleeve completed. Now working on bottom ribbing.

March 1, 2017

Finished knitting but decided to change the neckline from ballet to ribbed. I hate picking out a cast on edge, UGH! Ripped out to the rnd just after the purl turn row and picked up stitches and knitted back the opposite direction in 1x1 ribbing. BO using needle 2 sizes larger and whipped into place catching every other stitch.

Off to blocking board tomorrow and then some pix after I sew in new labels. Hoping we have just a bit more cool weather so I can wear this one this yet spring.
