Notes

I had originally started purl bee’s herringbone cowl with this gorgeous yarn. After knitting up a whole skein, I really didn’t like how it was looking - the yarn splits easily and using size 17US needles doesn’t help. So I frogged it!

Swatched a few patterns I liked and decided I wanted to make a long seed stitch scarf.

When I was just about finished the 4 th skein of yarn, I decided that this would make a much nicer cowl. So I simply picked up the aligning stitch from the start and knitted it with the corresponding stitch on the needle as I was binding off. Looks great but I would definitely knit it on circs in the round if I made another one.

Cast on 36 sts using long tail method.
At the start of each row, I slipped the fist stitch (either purl wise or knit wise) to give it a cleaner finish.
