Make 4 hands (or feet?) using the baby Louis pattern following the pattern for the fingers and hands up to round 7. SC around (16 sts).
Then start making rows on the palm side.. starting on one side or work your way around to the other side to start (so the rows will be on the palm side and centered. See photo.
Rows 1-3: 8 sc
Row 4: dec, sc 4, dec
Row 5: sc 6
Row 6: dec, sc 2, dec
Row 7: sc, dec, sc
Now we’re gonna switch back to rounds
Rnd 1: sc 3, sc 6 evenly across the edge of the rows to the first unworked st of the top of the hand, sl st loosely into each of the 8 unworked sts. Sc 6 evenly across the other edge of the rows and sl St to the first sc.
Rnd 2. SC around. (23)
Make a few more rounds, adding or decreasing consistently until you reach the same number of stitches as you have on the legs so you can join the feet on easily

To make the head rotatable, I used two plastic CDs and two buttons (see photos) and cut them down to size (covered sharp edges with duct tape) and threaded the buttons through the holes. Then decreased around each inside the head and neck. Them I tied the strings together so the buttons can move independently of the CDs and the head can turn all the way around
