Very happy with this. Dried quickly while blocking.

The back-join (for joining new yarn) from TechKnitting was really helpful in this, as the rows get so long it’s much more efficient use of yarn than joining at end of row.

Uses 32” 5.5mm circular needle.

The tab to start off the shawl looked intimidating from the pattern notes (I still never feel like I know what I am doing with picking up stitches) but it was very simple to achieve.

It feels like after a few repeats of the 8-row pattern I’ll be able to carry on from memory, as long as I don’t have long breaks from working on it.
