I hand dyed the yarn for this and mis figured what I would need, so getting close to the end I opted to go with short sleeves. I picked up and knit 17 rows for the sleeves, then 6 for the band. I then used what I could to make the body of the sweater the length I wanted.

This is my second tea leaves cardigan, this went much easier than the first. It’s an easy to follow pattern and works up pretty quickly, though I did get tired of all the stockinette in the body of the sweater.

I actually like the short sleeves and think my daughter will wear it better than she would have the long sleeved version
