Notes

More Gobsmacking fun.

A simple asymmetrical triangle using a combination of texture stitches to show off a beautiful dappled varigradient.

Using 3.25 needles, but I must be automatically knitting lose as it’s not forming a dense fabric.

End 5th repeat: 70g rem
End 6th 54g rem (16g used)
End 7th 36g (18 used)
End 8th 15.6g (20 used)
End 9th 100g (22.5 used)
End 10th 75g rem (25g used)
End 11th 46.6 rem (28g)
End 12th 15.85 rem (30.8 used)

212g total used (both skeins were on the generous side) but BO can happen any row, so the extra yarn won’t make a difference.

Mustard swatch in Wollmeise fingering, also knit on 3.25mm needles. Which is rather curious.. Best to ignore my needle sizes, I think.

The name comes from the plant Lady’s Mantle, as the combination fo gestures reminds me of it’s foliage and flowers. But I suspect it came to mind because I was listening to Theodora Goss’s The Strange Case of the Alchemist’s Daughter, and European Travel for Monstrous Gentlewomen. (Which was fun! It’s since sent me on a mission to read the source material, Dr Jeckyll and Mr Hyde, Dracula, and Sherlock Holmes so far. :)
