Mysteriously, some rows seemed to use more than their share, while others were less hungry.

Here is an approximate calculation of percentage of yarn used when working through the chart:
To end of part 1 = 6.5%
To end of part 2 = 13.1%
To end part 3 = 29%
To end part 4 = 47.5
To end part 5 = 75.8
Assuming 100% = binding off on row 200.

(This is the cumulative percentage, not the percentage per part.)

These are fairly fuzzy figures, and based purely on the number of stitches, so it assumes stockinette uses the same amount of yarn as lace, which I find isn’t the case, so please take with a large grain of salt. :)
