The name comes partly from the lotus-like shape, and partly from the colours. It starts off very wintery and then after a bit of stop-start, becomes spring.

Yardage issue.
I’ve run out of the red/brown Stonechat colour way and was going to cannibalise the Dragonscale hat for some yarn. However the moment I pulled it out the bag, 2 boys pounced on it and immediately started arguing, and somebody or other has been wearing it ever since.

So I’m in a quandary.. How small can a sample be?

Or I can either wait till they forget about it, or wait another month or so till I’m somewhere where yarn might be. Hmm.
