Notes

Something that plays with a different way to blend colour in a variegated yarn.

It’s named for the tiny birds that sweep through the canopy, more heard than seen, so small it’s hard to tell bird from leaf. Little flashes of colour that come and go.. Unpredictable things that bring moments of joy and gratitude.

220g used in total. Just under 100g/350m in first section, and just over 50g (+ 70g of the CC) in the 2 colour section, making 120g in total.

So ~ a third of the yardage is the Jovita/brown, 2/3 is the teal multi, and the 2nd colour was introduced when the first colour was 2/3rds used.

176 sts MC before starting CC. 47g Tambopata rem start of mesh (27 ball + 33 miniskein of Jovita, plus main cake)
Last rows: 10.25-8.44-6.60-4.72-2.83-.91g = 1.81/1.84/1.88per row. 283-91.

220g total yarn = 770m (845y)
150 Tambopata =525m (574y)
70g Jovita = 245m (268y)

The sheep insisted on being in the photos because it was about feeding time, so they were giving me the hairy eyeball.
