There was a very good rhythm to this pattern, easily memorisable.

The only thing I would consider changing is going up a needle size or two to make it even more of an open fabric and larger shawl with the same amount of yarn or use more yarn. It is a little small.

The shawl weighs 227 grams.
155 grams lighter (edge 11 grams, not enough) 0g left.
72 grams darker (had 77 grams to begin with).

Size after blocking: 230 cm wingspan, 97 cm spine.
Before blocking: ~ 172 cm wingspan, 68 cm spine.

Decent size after serious blocking.
