This project is a test knit and I have enjoyed it very much.
Thank you Jenn
I have kept very careful notes on how much yarn I have used, also noting what small changes I have made.
Tyresta National Park is our closest National Park and I hope to go there and wear this nice sweater this fall.

I have worked on this for one week now and a lot of that time has been me changing my mind on colours, and the colours positions in the yoke. Also known as ripping and ripping and ripping and ripping.
I have finished the colourwork (and colour selection) and short row shaping of the yoke and I am separating for the sleeves.
I chose what size to knit based on the sts count of the yoke. I have knit so many lettlopi sweaters that I have my favourite yoke-numbers - to me a very easy way to pick what size I want.
In this pattern the size I am making is called M: 96 cm bust circumference.
I am making the sleeves one size up from my size by casting on 10 sts under the arm instead of 6.
This will also make the body a little bigger.
Bodies are bodies and I want my sweater to fit me.
For the yoke I have used:
• one full ball (+ perhaps one meter) of CC1: white (0051) - the contour colour.
• half a ball of CC3: golden heather (9426) - yoke background.
• half a ball of CC2: ash heather (0054) - centre of motif.
• almost one ball of MC: royal fuchsia (1705)

Two and a half weeks in to the project and I have bound off the body.
I have carefully checked gauge: 18/24 - happy!
Bust: 101 cm - giving me a size between M and L.
180 body.
66 sleeve.
I followed the decreases and increases as written for size M, and than just continued “in pattern” two more increases.
I stood in front of the mirror and realised I wanted a sweater of the little longer kind.
Knitting topdown it was just too tempting not to just knit a little more.
My body measures 49 cm from armhole to bind off.
For the body I have used exactly 5 full balls and 1/5 of a ball of MC.

I did the sleeves with 10 row intervals, as my row gauge is slightly elongated compared to the pattern I got a long and lovely sleeve just as I wanted.
66 => 48 > 42.
My sleeves measure 52 cm.
My sleeves and body are much longer than the pattern states.
The yoke is knit exactly to size M.
After splitting for the sleeves I added stitches in the armhole, this gave me a body between M and L with L sleeves.
I love the fit this gave me!
I have used exactly 8 full balls of MC.
I look forward to posting the pictures of the finished garment!
