I used DK weight yarn and followed the newborn pattern so that it would come out to a 3-month old size that I wanted. The UltraPima cotton yarn I used is phenomenal. It’s silky soft and so easy to knit with compared to other cotton yarns I’ve used. The pattern is very easy for me to follow and so far I think it’s looking adorable. Can’t wait for the baby to come and to be able to give it to my daughter!!

All done, washed, and blocked! I ran into one or two small snags in the directions but that may have just been problems on my part - not necessarily the designer. Overall I’m thrilled with the outcome and can’t wait to see it on the grandbaby after she’s born!

April 17th, made little Mary Jane’s to go with the dress this past weekend! I sewed the buttons on today and gave the dress and little shoes to my daughter today as she’s due in just 8 weeks!
