Yarn for this test was graciously provided by Kelbourne Woolens. Loving knitting with the Scout. It’s bouncy, shows the texture beautifully, and the color is fantastic. I think it’s going to be really hard to photograph well, but it’s a gorgeous navy with hints of purple and green in it.

I knit the sleeves about .75” shorter than the pattern said, and then doubled the length of the cuff.

All bind offs done in pattern.

Loved knitting with the Scout. It’s bouncy. Love a project where I can spit-splice and have almost no ends to weave in.

The texture on the sleeves of this really make the sweater, I think. And I think I will be able to wear it with practically everything I own. The heathered navy color is so classic.

Will come back and add gauge numbers after it dries.

Had to break into the 6th skein just for 2/3 of the bind off on the hem. Might have been able to undo my swatch and use that, but I didn’t.
