Through 6” of the body now!

Finished the body this evening. Will start sleeve 1 tomorrow. Knit body exactly to pattern except that I’m doing the collar at the end.

Used a US5 for the main body and sleeves, used US4 for the ribbing.

01-01-2024

Finished the first sleeve tonight. Will start the second tomorrow. My arms are a little bit short, so I did not do the last two charts and just changed the number of decreases right before the cuff. I spaced them evenly. Other than that, my sleeve follows the pattern exactly.

Finished up this evening. I picked up stitches to make the neck — I like a nice, stabilized neckline — and I knit the K2, P2 ribbing for 3”. I think it turned out perfectly. Going to block it tonight.

This is my new favorite sweater, I think.
