Finished the second sleeve tonight. Tomorrow is for seaming! And if I’m not too tired maybe the collar too. But the collar may be a Sunday afternoon thing…

Still need to steam block the neckband and seams, but it’s all done, and I love it. I am sure that Jen intended this to be in a woolier, slightly heavier yarn. The pattern calls for a wool sport weight. This was labeled sport on the website where I bought it, but it’s definitely a fingering. And 45% cotton. But I got gauge, and my fabric is nice and lightweight and drapey. And for the Texas heat, that’s great. I could definitely wear this almost year round in the A/C. Maybe not outside in the heat we’ve been having, but otherwise, almost any day.

Love the trim sleeves. I will wear this like a shirt — without a tee under it — I imagine, and the sleeves mean I could slip a light jacket over it too if I needed to.

Really happy with how this turned out.
