I made the mitts with a starting chain of 40 instead of 46 and left them open at the top, rather than cinching them.

The scarf is using the same stitch pattern on a starting chain of 199. I stopped when the color change pleased me, so had a small ball of light blue left over. Twisted to make it mobius and ss the ends together.
