Gosh, really enjoying these three colors together.

NEEDLE SIZE
. My TMoL version used US 6. Dimensions were 68” by 24.5”
. Usually I go smaller with TML, so change down or leave it springy and loose?
. The pattern uses Malabrigo Sock and US 3. Her dimensions were 57” by 21”. Hmm…
. I think I will do US 5

3-COLOR REPEAT
Doing a 1-2-3 color repeat, including pinstripes between sections. 2-row pinstripe at the end of each increase section, and at the beginning of each decrease section.

Whiskey Barrel - Antique Moonstone - Aura = WBAMA!
.1. WB (dark brown)
.2. AM (med blue w/speckle)
.3. Aura (lt blue).

Starting tip, center stripe, ending tip with darkest.

Notes from my first one - Alternative I-Cord method:
. Designer warns us to go loosely on the ‘bottom’ or ‘left’ edge, and this is especially true when it includes the decrease on the second half of the shawl. It wants to roll under and the tighter the stitches the more it rolls.
. So far, I am finding it tricky to go loosely - I’m doing it, but I have a suspicion it may not be enough. Still, I am feeling a bit lazy about modifying my approach now.
… I think if I were to do this or a similar piece, I would try some sort of YO trick - but where? In the middle of the I-cord or before or after? After might be a thought. Put the YO after the edge sts on the WS, then drop on the way back on the next RS? Then the extra would be more likely to stay on the previous rows. I find sometimes when you put in a YO, and then drop it soon after, the yarn can slide and the extra evaporates.
