I had the good fortune to be the model of this pattern when it was first published in 2016. Not gonna lie, I felt like I looked pretty great in this sweater and wanted to make one for myself!

Amy, the designer of the pattern, has a great blog post that talks about fit with yoke sweaters. Based on the information in the post and only ordering 2 skeins of the MC instead of the recommended 3, I decided to size down from the sample I modeled to a 41. I also shortened to the sweater to hip-length. I did this by doing the body increases every 10 rows instead of every 12 and then began the bottom garter stitch when the sweater hit just above my hip bone.

I steam blocked this aggressively and will give it a nice wet block very soon. More people should make this sweater! You can knock it out in a weekend and have yarn left over to make cute chunky hats.
