Aside from the running out of yarn (easily substituted with another color), and the 42 ends to weave in, this was a quick and fun knit. Just keep in mind that you may run out of a color, but substituting will work just fine.

Very loose with the 110 st cast on. Someone else cast one 100 and it was fine. May help with running out of yarn issue. The hat fits loosely but is comfy.

Approx. 11.5” wide at brim x 10.75” tall (lying flat)

Ran out of Cast Iron almost halfway through Rnd 2 to get to Rnd 3, so I winged it.

March 6, 2017

Ran out of Spring Ice near the end so I couldn’t do rnds 50-51, so I had to substitute Spun Gold for it and did Spring Ice for rnd 52 instead.

Not enough Rusted Roof to complete Rnds 53-55 so I used Cranberry Compote instead.

Played yarn chicken with Midnight Sea in Rnds 62-63.

No Earth Ivy for Rnd 64, so I used Rusted Roof instead.

Finished knitting.

I didn’t finish with Red Rock because I preferred the look of Golden Meadow instead.
