Genius design!

I need to make the footbed longer rather than shorter to ensure a good fit at the heel.

Crocheted the pieces (both knit) together with the top piece closest to me and the footbed farthest from me to make the pretty chain ridge.

The Plasti-Dip clear spray was perfect!

I find it more efficient to knit the two soles first, spray them with the Plasti-Dip, set them out to dry, then knit the upper parts. That way, the bottoms are easier to spray and they are dry and ready to be crocheted to the uppers.

Wonder clips work really well for the pinning part.

Next time I will bind off loosely through the back loop over the arch, and bind off the standard way around the rest of the leg opening.
